AI-Built App Launch Readiness Checklist
An AI-built app is launch-ready when auth, payments, data access, deployment, analytics, monitoring, onboarding, and rollback have been tested against real user behavior. If those systems are not checked, the app is still a demo.
The Fast Checklist
Before launch, confirm:
- sign-up, login, logout, reset password, and role permissions work
- private data is protected server-side
- API keys and service secrets are not exposed
- database rules match the product roles
- payment webhooks cannot double-charge or silently fail
- transactional emails land in inboxes
- onboarding does not break after refresh
- production errors go somewhere visible
- analytics track activation and conversion events
- the domain, SSL, redirects, and environment variables are correct
If any of those are unknown, launch risk is still live.
Why This Matters
AI has made building faster. It has not removed launch risk.
Founders often ship UI faster than security, observability, and operational discipline. The result is a product that looks good in screenshots but breaks when a real customer signs in, pays, invites a teammate, uploads data, or hits a missing edge case.
The AI Launch Rescue Fix Map
The sprint should move through four phases:
1. Diagnose launch risk Audit auth, payments, database access, deployment, onboarding, and analytics.
2. Fix critical blockers Repair the issues most likely to damage trust, revenue, or customer data.
3. Add receipts Capture before/after notes, screenshots, implementation evidence, and the launch-readiness report.
4. Handover cleanly Give the founder a clear summary of what changed and what to watch next.
Search Intent Match
This page is for founders searching things like:
- AI app launch checklist
- AI-built SaaS production readiness
- what to check before launching a Lovable app
- Bolt app security checklist
- Cursor app production audit
The answer is the same: do not add features until launch trust is handled.
Next Step
If the product is close to real users, use `/launch-rescue` to turn the launch checklist into a fixed-scope sprint.
