If you are a coach or consultant turning an AI service into a productized offer, the real issue is usually not "we need a prettier page." It is that visitors do not understand what you do, who it is for, why it is different, or what to do next.

If you ignore that, you pay for it in the worst places: wasted ad spend, low booked-call rates, weak lead quality, support questions from confused prospects, and launch delays because the page keeps getting patched instead of shipped.

What This Sprint Actually Fixes

My Custom Landing Page sprint is a fast conversion-focused build from scratch, not a generic template with your logo swapped in.

I use this when a founder has a service that needs to look and feel like a real productized funnel for an AI tool startup, not a vague "book a call" brochure.

What I am fixing in practical terms:

  • The message hierarchy so the visitor understands the offer in under 10 seconds.
  • The user journey from hero to CTA without dead ends.
  • Trust signals that reduce hesitation before the first click.
  • Objection handling so people do not bounce with unanswered concerns.
  • Mobile UX so the page works on the device most visitors actually use.
  • Tracking and analytics so you can see where people drop off.
  • Technical setup so the page can launch cleanly on Vercel with a custom domain and Cloudflare.

I usually build this in Next.js or plain HTML/CSS depending on speed and maintenance needs. If you already prototyped something in Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, v0, Framer, Webflow, or GoHighLevel, I treat that as input, not as the final product.

The Production Risks I Look For

A landing page can fail even when it looks good. I audit for UX problems that quietly kill conversion or create launch risk.

1. Confusing value proposition If the headline sounds clever but does not say what you do, who it is for, and what outcome they get, conversion drops. For AI tool startups especially, jargon creates friction because buyers are already skeptical.

2. Weak mobile flow A lot of founders design on desktop and forget that most traffic will hit on mobile first. If buttons are too small, sections are too long, or pricing sits too far down the page, you lose clicks before intent has a chance to form.

3. Slow load time and layout shift If your Core Web Vitals are poor, visitors feel instability before they read anything. I target strong performance standards such as LCP under 2.5s and CLS below 0.1 because slow pages reduce trust and hurt paid traffic efficiency.

4. Broken tracking and invisible drop-off If analytics events are missing or heatmaps are not configured correctly, you cannot tell whether the problem is copy, layout, or offer fit. That means you keep guessing and burning time between revisions.

5. Trust gaps around pricing and proof Productized funnels fail when pricing feels hidden or social proof feels fake. I make sure testimonials, logos, case results, and pricing logic answer the actual objection: "Why should I believe this will work for me?"

6. Security mistakes in lead capture Lead forms often get treated as harmless, but they still need basic protection: rate limiting where possible, proper validation, spam controls, least privilege on email integrations, and safe handling of API keys. Bad form handling can create support noise or expose customer data through sloppy third-party setup.

7. AI red-team exposure if you use chat widgets or AI helpers If your landing page includes an AI assistant or intake flow connected to your backend or knowledge base, prompt injection and data exfiltration become real risks. I check for unsafe tool access, over-shared context windows, jailbreak paths through free-text fields, and whether human escalation exists when the model gets uncertain.

The Sprint Plan

I keep this tight because founders need momentum more than endless revision cycles.

Day 1: Audit and message map I start by reviewing your current offer stack: call booking flow, lead magnet if you have one, current site copy, ad angle if applicable, and any prototype from tools like Webflow or Framer.

Then I map the page around one primary action: book a call or join a waitlist. If there are two competing CTAs at launch time without clear priority rules inside GoHighLevel or your email provider flow, I simplify them fast.

Day 2: UX structure and wireframe I define section order based on user intent:

  • Hero
  • Problem framing
  • Features or outcomes
  • Social proof
  • Pricing
  • Objection handling
  • FAQ
  • CTA repeat

This is where most founders overcomplicate things. My job is to remove friction while keeping enough detail to qualify buyers properly.

Day 3: Design and build I turn the wireframe into production-ready UI in Next.js or HTML/CSS. If speed matters more than custom interaction depth, I keep animations restrained so performance stays strong and maintenance stays low.

I also handle responsive behavior carefully so mobile does not become an afterthought. That includes spacing discipline, readable type scale, tap targets that work on small screens, and forms that do not fight autofill.

Day 4: Integrations and QA I connect lead capture to your email provider and confirm every event fires correctly in analytics and heatmaps. Then I test common failure paths: empty states, invalid emails,, slow network conditions,, broken embeds,, form spam,, cookie consent behavior,, and domain propagation issues.

For quality control,, I verify SEO metadata,, sitemap generation,, structured data,, Open Graph tags,, canonical URLs,, indexability,, and basic accessibility checks like contrast,, heading order,, focus states,, and keyboard navigation.

Day 5: Deployment and handover I deploy to Vercel,, connect Cloudflare if needed,, point the custom domain,, confirm SSL,, run final smoke tests,, then hand over cleanly with notes on how to update content without breaking layout or tracking.

If there is any AI component on-page,, I also document guardrails for prompt handling,, escalation rules,, and what should never be sent to model providers by default.

You should leave this sprint with assets that help you sell faster immediately.

Deliverables usually include:

  • A fully designed custom landing page built from scratch.
  • Deployment live on Vercel.
  • Custom domain connected.
  • Cloudflare configured where appropriate.
  • Lead capture or waitlist form connected to your email provider.
  • Analytics installed with event tracking for key actions.

When You Should Not Buy This

Do not buy this sprint if your offer is still changing every day. If you have no clear audience,,, no real proof,,, no pricing logic,,, or no idea whether this should drive booked calls versus waitlist signups,,, design will just accelerate confusion.

Do not buy this if your backend is broken enough that leads cannot be followed up within 24 hours. A better page will not save bad operations.

Do not buy this if you need full brand strategy from zero,,, multiple pages,,, long-form SEO content,,, CRM automation architecture,,, or app development at the same time. That becomes a bigger scope than a landing page sprint should carry.

DIY alternative:

  • Use one strong template in Framer,,,, Webflow,,,, or GoHighLevel.
  • Keep one CTA only.
  • Write one clear promise above the fold.
  • Add three proof points maximum.
  • Remove all non-essential animations.
  • Launch fast,,,, then improve based on actual data after 7 days.

That path is cheaper but less tailored. It works if your offer is already proven enough that messaging risk is lower than build quality risk.

Founder Decision Checklist

Answer yes or no before booking anything:

1. Do visitors understand what you sell within 10 seconds? 2. Do you have one primary CTA for this funnel? 3. Can someone book or join from mobile without friction? 4. Do you have at least 2 credible proof points? 5. Is your price visible or intentionally staged? 6. Are analytics already telling you where people drop off? 7. Is your current page loading fast enough on average mobile networks? 8. Do you know which objections stop buyers from converting? 9. Are your lead forms connected to an email system that actually follows up? 10. If someone asked why this offer is different from a generic agency service,,,, could you answer cleanly?

If you answered "no" to three or more,,,, fix the funnel before spending more on traffic.
